We met again at LaBella's Pizza, 1715 Butler Street.On their day off.Merely saying "Thank you" isn't enough, so drop in and buy some great food.Then leave a few business cards to share with their customers.(That's one marketing rep!) The other six people who attended shared information about their businesses and what they are doing to make them better.(That's seven marketing reps!)When we meet again in 2 weeks, join us.Seven could become seventeen with a little help from you.
We are your neighbors. How can we help? That was the theme of Tuesday’s meeting of the Wilson Boro Business Association. What does your business need help with? Who knows what you do? Who knows that you even exist as a business? How can we help each other spread the word? Why bother? I was listening to a documentary about small towns and small businesses and their impact on each other. Every dollar spent locally comes back threefold into the community. So where would you like to see your money go to improve someone’s lifestyle? A thousand miles away to some corporation executive who doesn’t know you or care about you? Or to your neighbors who live down the block or around the corner? Who are you going to help? Who is going to help you?
What do pizza, boats, model cars, computer hardware, websites, car rentals, banks, and shoes have in common?They all are businesses located in Wilson Boro.They met to help each other grow their businesses together.

Over a dozen businesses were represented at this meeting held at LaBella Pizza, 1715 Butler Street.Andy and his family graciously opened up their restaurant on the one night they are closed so that we could have our meeting there.We all appreciated their contribution to the goal of forming a group to promote our neighborhood businesses.They have extended their gift of time to provide a place to meet for the next three or four months (see Next Meeting Date below for details).
It's not just our businesses, it's your business, too. Together we can accomplish much more than we can alone. So help yourself by helping us grow
